Seaweed soup

1. Slice beef (if using) into strips.
2. Sauté in sesame oil and soy sauce.
3. Throw in diced garlic at the end.
4. Toss in hydrated seaweed and sauté.
5. Pour in water until it covers the seaweed and boil with lid on.
6. When seaweed becomes a creamy consistency and the pot is steaming, take lid off.
7. Boil a bit longer with the lid off.
8. Add fish sauce, soy sauce, salt, and chopped clams with juice.


  • *hydrate seaweed for about 1 hour, rinse well and cut up
