berry crisp

This recipe is actually a modified apple crisp recipe. If you want apple crisp instead, peel and slice about 10 apples and add 1 t cinnamon. I think this is wonderful for breakfast or dessert, served warm with vanilla bean ice cream.

10 cups berries (I use the frozen berry mix from Costco)
2 1/4 c brown sugar (I use less and usually use raw sugar)
2 1/4 c oatmeal (rolled oats)
3/4 c whole wheat flour, divided
3/4 c melted butter or earth balance

stir 1/4c flour and berries together, then place fruit in 9x13 pan. mix sugar, oatmeal, flour and melted butter together. Spread mixture over berries. Bake at 375* for about 40-45 minutes, until bubbly and topping is starting to brown.
